The Fur Babies

Now as most of you know we not only have H-J but we also have 2 little fur babies. So since they seem to always get put to the side I figured it was time to do a little blog about our other two kids in our lives.

Sasha who will be 3 tomorrow!!!

 I remember the first day we got her, she was only 1lb and 1oz and she was so small she would fit in the palm of my hand. I was so scared that I was going to break her or step on her she was so sweet and I was so excited to finally have a puppy of my own and to this day she is still Mommas little pup.

Milo who turned 2, right before H-J was born

Milo has always been our wild one he has always been very playful and loves to run and run and did I mention run. He was given to us by a friend who’s little boy couldn’t keep him due to being allergic and he has always been Brian’s little friend they play video games together on the couch and is just a sweet, warm hearted little brown dog.

They are a huge part of our family and we love them so much and it wouldn’t be the same family without having them around.

Hannah-Joy and Daddy Day

Today Daddy and I got to spend the day together since Great Grandma (GG) had a dr. appointment.  We watched tv, played, took a nap and we even got to have lunch with mommy.   Everyone at mommy's office thinks I am just the sweetest and most beautiful baby in the world, mommy and daddy coudn't agree more.

5 Months

So as most family’s we have people in many different states and many different time zones. Brian and I have decided to start a blog in order to keep all of our family up to date and as much as I love face book and all of the other internet sites this makes me feel a little more safe and also allows us to put more than just pictures but updates on our family as well.




H-J is now 5 months old and is doing amazing new things every day.

• Eating solid food now

               o Sweet Potatoes

              o Carrots

              o Green Beans

             o Peas

             o Squash

             o Oatmeal

            o Mixed Grains

            o Rice Cereal

• Rolling over (front to back and back to front)

• Loves to play on her Tummy

• Plays in her bouncer

• Smiles (She has the biggest smile that will melt anyone’s heart)

• Learning how to drink from a Sippy Cup.

• Getting curious about the pups (She likes to look but don’t touch her)

• Loves to snuggle and give kisses.

Those are just a few of the things that H-J has started to do, it won’t be long now before she is crawling and getting into all kind of mischief. I look forward to the years to come but most of all we are just taking it day by day and enjoying every moment that we have with our baby girl.



Brian has started back at school this semester after taking a short break when H-J was born so he would be available to help me with the baby. He is taking 2 classes and is gone 3 nights a week as well as working full time so needless to say he is busy.

As for me there are not enough hours in my day some days. I am back to working full time as well as being a full time mom, trying to make sure that the dogs are let out and fed and getting something on the table for Brian and I plus trying to play and keep H-J happy the days fly by and to be honest I love every moment of it.

Well that about sums up what has been going on it our life. We love and miss all of our family and make sure to check back with us to see any new updates and pictures.
