Our Little Pumpkins

So since it is hard to do anything with a 2 year old, it's even harder to do things with a 2 year old and be pregnant with Twins.  We decided to do stickers for the pumpkins instead of carving them so without further adu.

Pumpkin Patch 2011

This year because Mommy (me) is so pregnant we went to a local church that had a pumpkin patch.  We picked out a couple of pumpkins and of course Mommy had to take pictures. All in all it was a great 20 min outing for H-J and Mommy and Daddy.

Great Weekend

This weekend has been one of those weekends that you always wish you can have and when you finally get them it is one that you will cherish forever.

As most know when you are pregnant you feel like a whale, well when you are pregnant with Twins you are not only a whale but a blue whale. I know this may come as a shock to some people but growing up my dad and I were the best of friends and my mom was always someone who just kinda sat back and prayed and really only lectured me when I was falling astray and needed that guidance.  Well since I have been pregnant I have a lot more respect and understanding about my mom as she carried and birthed 3 kids and 2 of them were twins and so I know have amazing respect for my mom.

With that being said being a Mom is a very hard job but you know being a dad can be a harder job.  Because I am blessed to be a stay at home mom H-J is with me M-F all day long and Brian is home about 6 and H-J goes to bed at 8 so he only gets a few hours with her and since I have been pregnant he has been making dinner, doing bath time and putting her to bed and I know that with out a doubt she loves that time with her dad.  The weekends are always special for her because she gets to have daddy home all day.  As I watched the two of them play this morning it melted my heart in way that I don't think I have ever had happen, she had this smile and giggle that just left Brian and I looking at each other thinking what an amazing little girl we have and what an amazing family we have. As I was watching the babies were kicking and it brought me to another place that I going to have 3 amazing little girls who are going to run around with there daddy and play and smile and leave Brian and I looking at one another.

This may not make a ton of sense but this weekend has been full of special time with just the 3 of us as a family, not only did we get to have family time but it was also nice and cool and rainy and in my book the prefect weekend.

As I am growing older the priorities in my life are changing daily, I love that my weekends are full of dirty diapers and snotty kisses and  giggles from watching my kids play with there dad.  I look forward to the days as they get older and the traditions in our family will grow and pass from one to another and most of all I look forward to more cool, rainy weekends with just my family.

Thank you God for my little family and the 2 little girls that are going to be joining us in Dec. We are so excited to meet you and even your big sister is excited to meet you.

Been a Long Time

So my mom has been on me to update the blog so I am finally going to take a few min out of my day while Hannah-Joy is watching Super Why to update on our family.

H-J is growing big and strong everyday she is def getting ready to hit the I am 2 stage,  so Brian and I are always on our toes not knowing what kind of a day we are going to have.  Some days she is an angel and eats like a champ and take her 2 naps and is a dream.  Other days she is strong willed and independent and decides she doesn't need naps or food and can stand on the furniture so it is a toss of the coin on how her day will go.  Today she is great and playing and just having a great morning that might be because I gave her some strawberry milk so I am on her good side.

She is also getting ready for play the big sister role and I think she will be the best big sister that she can of course she won't be quite 2 but we are prepping her the best that we can.  She loves to rock her babies and give them kisses and hugs so hopefully she will be that way with her little sisters.

Cheyanne and Izabella are growing everyday  and so is mommy, I am pretty sure I am going to be the size of the good year blimp by the time we have our c-section in December but it will be worth it to add 2 more little girls to our family.  As of last Thursday Cheyanne is 1Ib and 12Oz and Izabella is 1Ib and 15Oz so they are starting to put on there little baby fat.  I think the thing I look forward to the most is getting to meet them and look into there eyes and see what they look like.

Brian and I are doing great, poor Brian is having to pull double duty as he puts it in the military.  He goes to work and then comes home and goes to his 2nd job of playing nurse to me, making dinner, giving H-J her bath and putting her and me to bed.  So he is super busy not to mention keeping up with the house work like mowing the grass and cleaning the garage.  But he loves us and does it because of his love for us.

Well it's time to end this, I love you all and miss you all so very much!!!!
