My Baby Isn't A Baby Anymore

Wow I look at my little baby and realize she isn't a baby anymore she is my big girl!

As some of you may or may not know, I have a sister named Beverly and she is a twin so yes twins run in the family this may explain why I had twins but who knows.  Anyways in our family my brother Neil who is her twin has 3 girls, I have 3 girls and well you would think that Beverly would have girls as well NOPE that is not the case she actually has all boys.

So I am dedicating this entry to my Sister Bev and her 2 beautiful boys.

To Brian - With Love Your Family

There are times in my married life that I am thankful for a husband who is very hands on.  Brian is amazing in all kinds of situations, he is calm when I am having a huge meltdown, he is loving when I need a hug, he is a care giver when I am sick, he has been through 4 major surgeries with me and has been a champ. 

Brian is not only amazing to me but he is the most hands on and amazing dad that I could have ever asked for.  When we decided to have kids things did not always go our way but he knew that it was always my dream to have a family and he did everything possible to make that happen, after we had H-J I thought he was going to be the typical guy who would pass the baby to me if she needed a diaper change but nope he has changed diapers, he has taken turns sitting up feeding babies, he gives hugs and kisses when one of them is hurt, he has sat and held them when they don't feel good, he even allowed me to sleep in on the weekends and take a nap when needed. 

HE REALLY IS NOT ONLY MINE BUT OUR HERO!!!!

Moments I Thank God For

While I was on my many months of bed rest Hannah-Joy spent a lot of time with her Great Aunt DeeDee and her GG or as H-J calls her Gammy.  Since we live in the beautiful state of Texas and it is warm 90% of the time we spent alot of time outside, well one of the things that Hannah-Joy and DeeDee would do was go for a walk down to the mail box and get Grammy's mail.  Well apparently she was a special outfit that she has to wear in order to go.

Without Further ADO:

Wow it has defantly been a day at the Berthon House, everyone is a bit on the cranky side and I am thinking that is due to all of the crazyness that we have been through the last 2 weeks, with the delivery of the twins, me being in the hospital 3 days and trying to recover from sergery, Christmas, New Years and it is defantly safe to say that we are all off of our schedule and to be honest we are a schedule family.

So after Daddy mowed the lawn he took H-J ourside to play while I napped, he is nice like that except that I didn't wan't to miss out on seeing H-J smile and giggle so I decided to forgo the the nap and go take some pictures.

Christmas Day

This year Christmas morning was way different then it has been in the past, this year I was looking through the eyes of being the parent instead of being the kids opening Christmas gifts. 

Brian and I were so excited for Hannah-Joy to open her big gift from Santa, Santa brought her a Toy Kitchen and let me tell you watching Brian put her gift together was so cute.  He was so excited that he put her first big Christmas gift together all by himself. 

The Twins were nice and cozy and slept most of the morning.

H-J was all over the place running around and didn't quite know what to do with all of the gifts.
