When you become a parent your life changes in many ways, you become H-J's mom and everything you do is for you children. However my life has other people that make up my little family, Brian who is my rock and my hero and most of all my BEST FRIEND......

As most people know Brian and I had tried for many years to have a family and when that didn't happen in the time frame that I wanted Brian did what any husband would do well probebly not but he got me a fur baby a little brown and white doxin who weighed in at 1 pound we named her Sasha, a few months later we inhareted her little brother a blond and white doxin who weighed in at 1 pound and 5 ounces and we named him Milo. Alot of people do not understand / have a huge problem with the fact that I call Sasha and Milo fur babies but at the time Brian and I did not think that we would be able to have a family so the dogs helped with the pain and I they always made me feel better and licked the tears and are a huge part of my family.

With all of this being said the other night after I got done putting H-J to bed I walked out in the livingroom and this picture just melted my heart. Because before we had H-J this was my own little family and now they just add that extra little special part to our little family. 



Playing at the Park in Style

Today was another beautiful day in Austin so we did what all the other parents in Austin do when it is nice out we go to the park to try and make our kids tired.  But this time we didn't just go to the park in the neighborhood we went to the big park downtown (Zilker Park)

As most mommy's of daughters we tend to want to dress them up like we did our baby dalls when we were younger.  Well I am no exception so today I put H-J in this cute little romper that her Grandma in Arizona sent her and she looks sooooo cute!!!!

Wow it has been a rough week in the Berthon household.




Tuesday we had to take H-J back to the doctors as she was having some serious breathing issues and the doctor finally diagnosed her with Asthma and put her on some new meds. Now with a 1 year old it is very hard to get them to sit still long enough to get them dressed let alone sitting through a breathing treatment. But she has been a sport about things and all though she might fight us she does as she needs in the end. She sounds so much better now that we have her on the new meds.



Thursday I ended up in the ER with some serious pain. Turns out I have been passing kidney stones and holy cow that hurt worse that the contractions I was having when I had H-J but I think I am finally starting to feel better just really tired and still a bit weak from everything.



Friday Great Aunt DeeDee came over to help me since I was on pain pills and just didn’t trust myself with H-J and Estella the little girl that I watch during the week. So below are some pics of H-J having a snack with Great Aunt DD.

Long Time

I know it has been a long time since we have updated the blog and I promise that I will work on updating it more often. 

Today has been an amazing day it was 75 and sunny so we decided it would be a great afternoon to take a walk and stop in at the park.  Today was the first time that H-J has ever been on the swings and what a blast she had.

Where to start....

Out Angel is now 10 months old and will be 1 next month and it just makes me want to cry when I think about it.

Nap Time

H-J was supposed to be napping and when I went into her room to check on her this is what I found:

As you can tell by the pictures H-J was not napping she was having a party in her crib and forgot to invite mommy.  Guess she figured I would be the party pooper since I would have made her take a nap but she won and no nap and now she is content playing in her playroom watching veggie tales.
