Not Feeling Well

It amazes me how when kids get sick they can go from bad to worse in a matter of hrs. Friday afternoon Hannah-Joy was spending some time with Grammy and Great Aunt DeeDee so that I could have a little time with just the twins. Well about 12:30 I get a call from DeeDee asking if I would take Hannah’s temp as she felt a little warm well it was 99.2 we waited 30 min and it was up to 100.2. One of the things that I am most grateful for is that Brian works for the pediatrician’s office and cam get us appointments in 10 min flat when most people would have to wait till the next day. But in all fairness I am not one of those parents that take’s the kids for everything they have to be really sick to call and ask for an appointment.

Well they said that it was just her allergies or a cold and sent us home but something inside me said no I do not believe that sine my kid never runs a fever unless she has either and ear infection or her Asthma is about to kick in and either way it is not fun. Well all weekend she ran a fever on and off and yesterday morning she woke up with the seal bark and I knew exactly what she had her Asthma was acting up. Well we did 3 treatments with her nebulizer and before we put her to bed she started to get worse and by 12:00 last night I knew we were either going to end up in the ER or the Pedi office early this morning luckily for us we already had some Alberturol in the house and Brian being an MA for the Pedi office would know what to do. Well lucky for us she got a little sleep and we took her in just to make sure that we were doing the right things and we were.

Well I looked over at her a few min ago and this is the picture that I saw and it just made my heart sad that my poor baby doesn’t feel good.

Praying for my baby on this miserable day.

I love you honey
