You know the saying you never know what the day holds when you have children, and I can honestly say that this quote is so very true.
So yesterday morning we awoke to the twins crying, I happened to look over at the clock and it said 8:30 both Brian and I jumped out of bed to run and check on Hannah-Joy because she never sleeps that late unless she isn't feeling well.
As I am walking towards the twins room, I hear "Go get your butt in that bathroom" and I hear the bath water running. Now we have had a few challenges that most 2 years old go through
she through poop all over her room thankfully she didn't really smear it just she put it on
the floor and under her bed.
She managed to get a hold of a huge thing of baby powder and her room looked like it had
a nice blanket of snow all over her floor, all over her and all over her bed.
This weekend she decided that she was going to do an art project, now usually I don't mind
art projects but this particular project was done with (Butt Paste) yep she managed to get
of the diaper rash cream and she had it all over. On her chair, on her bed, her floor and her
blank canvas the back of her door.
Now as a mom usually I would be mad but the moment we opened the door she started to cry so she knew what she had done was wrong. And it was somewhat our fault as well, she managed to unplug the baby monitor and I was so tired that I didn't hear it unplug so she was up for a long while before we got up.
But what I will say is we have learned our lessons so by the time that our twins get to that age we will be able to avoid mishaps like this.
I still every morning wake up and thank God for my girls and my amazing family. And even though all of this I am enjoying being a mom and will always love them no matter what.
